Popular Eastern Passage eatery closes doors, cites Halifax's 'suffocating bureaucracy'

A popular Eastern Passage eatery has shut its doors after nine years in business, citing government bureaucracy and a “frustrating new generation of work force” among the reasons.
Chef Kim Stacey owned and operated Emma’s Eatery. In a lengthy Facebook post Monday night she announced that her restaurant was permanently closed and outlined some of the reasons.
